Lunch and Learn: Federal Pregnant Workers Fairness Act
Denver, CO 80204
Date and Time:Tuesday, June 2, noon
Attendee count:2 attendees
Pregnant workers are being pushed out of their jobs, or forced to risk their health, when all they need is a modest accommodation,
like a stool to sit on or a temporary reprieve from heavy living, to maintain a healthy pregnancy.
The bipartisan Pregnant Workers
Fairness Act would address this injustice by ensuring that pregnant workers can receive reasonable accommodations unless it would
impose an undue hardship on the employer, a process that is similar to one already in place for workers with disabilities
Join the ACLU of Colorado for a Lunch n Learn Tuesday, June 2nd at 12pm to learn more about the federal Pregnant Workers Fairness Act and ways to support it.
