Email your senator: Pass the Electoral Count Reform Act!

Congress has only a few weeks left to pass the Electoral Count Reform Act (ECRA) that was drafted and sponsored by a bipartisan group of senators. Reforms to the Electoral Count Act passed the House of Representatives and the Senate Rules Committee with bipartisan support.

Now, we need the full Senate to pass this bill so that President Biden can sign it into law. Send a message to your senators and urge them to push the Electoral Count Reform Act over the finish line.

The ECRA would modernize the 1887 Electoral Count Act, ensuring that Electoral College votes tallied by Congress properly represent the election results of each state’s popular vote for President and cannot be rejected by the Vice President. It would be a critical step in safeguarding American elections, and it’s crucial that it pass during the last few weeks of this Congress.
