Five years ago, Dave Mullins and Charlie Craig walked into Masterpiece Cakeshop, a Colorado bakery, to purchase a cake for their wedding reception. But the bakery’s owner refused to serve them solely because they’re a same-sex couple. On December 5, the ACLU will be at the Supreme Court, arguing on behalf of Dave and Charlie that businesses that open their doors to the public do not have a constitutional right to discriminate.

It’s our chance to show that communities across the country stand for equality and fairness and against discrimination.

Step up to host a canvass in the days leading up to the arguments to support Dave and Charlie by asking your local businesses to display a sign showing that they are #OpenToAll. This is an opportunity for ACLU volunteers and supporters to connect with members of their community and make the important values at stake in this case come to life. Show Charlie and Dave that your city stands with them!
